What happens if I miss my Nightjet train?

If you miss your train due to circumstances beyond your control (like a delayed connecting train), contact Nightjet customer service immediately. They may be able to rebook you on a later service. However, if you simply arrive late, standard tickets are usually non-refundable. It's always a good idea to arrive at the station with plenty of time to spare.

As a woman, I'd like to travel in a ladies' compartment. Is this possible?

Yes, there are separate ladies' compartments. These are available in the couchette travel category. Price, equipment, and service are equal to the standard couchette compartments.

Are there sanitary facilities in every wagon?

Yes, there are washing and toilet facilities in each wagon. The deluxe compartments in the sleeper cars are equipped with their own showers.

Are all the Nightjet trains equipped with air conditioning, and can the temperature be controlled separately for each compartment?

Yes, all sleeper, couchette and seating carriages are air-conditioned, and the temperature can be controlled separately for each compartment.

What food is included in the breakfast, and when is it served?

I want to travel with my family. What options do I have?

Private compartments are available on ÖBB Nightjets. In couchette cars, 1-6 persons (1-3 adults; max. 5 children up to the age of 14) can travel at a low fixed rate.

Can I lock my compartment?

All compartments can be locked by the passenger, while an intercom system allows you to directly contact the train team. Couchette compartments can be closed from the inside. Seat carriage compartments cannot/are not allowed to be closed from the inside.

Is there a wake-up service, and where can I order it?

In the sleeper car, the train team will arrange a wake-up call for you and wake you up on time in the morning

Beautiful, very high and accessible, but very expensive. It's great to be able to visit a place so high up, on a glacier without any equipment! However, you get the feeling that it's an affluent foreign public (Chinese and Indian) that's being targeted (luxury watch boutiques, Dubai chocolate for sale at Lindt, boolywood restaurant...). Tourists weren't very polite in the Hall of Mirrors, which kind of spoiled my experience that day. I would also have liked to see some climate warnings on this fragile environment! But the only mention is of signs leading away from the star attractions towards the toilets. Conclusion: a must if you're in the area and can afford it, but if you're used to hiking and mountaineering, you can have great experiences elsewhere.

We had no problems with our reserved tickets getting from train to cable car. The Junfrauoch station was very crowded and had too many shops and restaurants and not enough places to enjoy outside.

That there were other displays and activities up at the top (ice tunnel/historical pics etc) besides the awesome view. Assortment of food choices too.

Amazing place to visit. Was able to use Swiss half fare being a visitor which made it more affordable and some parts of the building were overcrowded with tourists but you can get to places which especially outside which aren't as busy. Best to book a return journey as I had to wait quite sometime to get back on a train with no reservation.

The Jungfraujoch was epic! My only issue was the issue to try to get a Eurail discount associated with this purchase as I was told I was eligible for that. Is there a way I can submit my Eurail ticket card (pass reference 4BSDV3) and apply for a discount or partial refund? Thank you for your consideration! Take care, Kuangkai Tai, San Diego
